Christof Mascher
Christof Mascher (b. 1979, Hannover, Germany) is a storyteller and an improviser at the canvas and in the objects he makes, layering histories and lionizing techniques that show empathy and grain. As such he embodies two classic German schools: Romanticism and Postmodernism. Mascher has presented three solo exhibitions at Josh Lilley alongside solo institutional exhibitions at the Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg, Germany; California Lutheran University, USA; and Kunsthalle Emden, Germany.
Christof Mascher lives and works in Braunschweig.
